What to Expect on a Sea Vancouver Tour

Sea Vancouver

If you’re looking for a fast-paced way to experience the city, a tour with Sea Vancouver offers a unique perspective of Vancouver’s greatest landmarks, and all in 90 – 180 minutes. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or rediscovering your own backyard, this is one of the most exciting ways to explore the coastline!

Before You Depart

Sea Vancouver Boat

Tours depart from Granville Island, right on the marina of False Creek. Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to check in and get ready for departure. We’ll gear you up in our full-length flotation suits, designed to keep you warm, dry and safe, even when the ocean breeze kicks in. Before heading out, your Skipper will provide a quick safety briefing so you feel comfortable and prepared for the ride.

The Experience on the Water

Once onboard, the pace picks up quickly. Unlike larger vessels, Sea Vancouver’s zodiac-style boats are responsive and agile, giving you an thrilling, open-air experience. Over the next 90 – 180 minutes, you’ll cruise through Vancouver’s harbour and along its coastline. From the three tour options, each route highlights a different side of Vancouver, making each experience unique!

Tour highlights include:

  • Cruising beneath the iconic Lions Gate Bridge
  • Taking in the city skyline from Coal Harbour
  • Exploring the rugged coastline around Whytecliff Park
  • Passing the sandy shoreline of Kitsilano Beach
  • Venturing into the scenic fjord of Say Nuth Kwam Yum Park
Whyte Cliff park

A Different Kind of Tour

Brockton Point

One of the biggest differences with a Sea Vancouver tour is the energy. This isn’t a drawn out cruise. It’s an active, engaging experience that lets you see so much without takin up your whole day. It gets you close to the water and fully immersed in your surroundings. With a smaller group on board, there’s also more opportunity to interact with your captain, ask questions, and take in the experience at a more personal level.

Back to the City

After your trip out on the water, you’ll return to Granville Island having seen Vancouver from a completely different perspective. For many, our tours add an unforgettable experience to their trip, without taking up the whole day!
