Like every Sea Vancouver Tour, the adventure kicks off with a cruise out of Granville Island before heading out directly beneath the towering spans of the iconic Lions Gate Bridge.

As we pass through the Port of Vancouver and under the Ironworkers Memorial (Second Narrows) Bridge, you’ll get a front-row seat to the striking contrast of our working harbor against the dramatic backdrop of the North Shore Mountains. Capturing an iconic view entirely unique to Vancouver.

Cruising Into the Fjords of Say Nuth Khaw Yum

As we enter the calm waters of the Deep Cove slow zone, the urban buzz fades into a peaceful stillness. You are now entering Say Nuth Khaw Yum Provincial Park (historically known as Indian Arm), one of the southernmost glacial fjords in North America.

Surrounded by steep, forested cliffs, this portion of the tour feels like stepping into another world. Along the way, we’ll cruise past some incredible landmarks:

• Twin Islands: A picturesque pair of islands nestled perfectly in the fjord.
• Buntzen Powerhouse: A historic, early-1900s hydroelectric marvel built right into the rocky shoreline.
• The Seal Area: A favorite local hangout just west of Buntzen, where adorable harbour seals love to haul out on rocky outcrops or bob in the water to watch us pass by.

The Grand Finale: Silver Falls & Beyond

Deeper into the park lies the undisputed crown jewel of the tour: Silver Falls. Watching this spectacular waterfall cascade down steep cliffs directly into the ocean is a true West Coast bucket-list moment.

But the journey doesn’t end there! We’ll push all the way to the end of Indian Arm to witness the thunderous Granite Falls and catch a glimpse of the historic, remote Wigwam Inn before heading home.
